I challenge you! I challenge you to do just a little something that will brighten someone's day in a big way. If you click the link underneath the "A Card for Lois" icon to the right ---> you will go to the blog of a fellow "Fashionista" at SIStv. She can explain in more detail, but in a nutshell, she has a friend who has terminal cancer and she wants to just bring joy into her life in at least a small way. So she has started this campaign where she has set a goal to get 100 people to make and send a card to her friend that is dying. There will be a drawing on her blog on March 20th out of all the people who particpate and there will be prizes. Now if you're not a scrapbooker, you might not care about the prizes that much. (You could always give them to ME if you'd get chosen!) ;) But, whether you're a scrapbooker or not, making a card can be a simple little thing. It doesn't have to be as fancy as mine at all. You can just take a piece of stiff paper, fold it in half and decorate it. If you're so inclined, you can take a photo of it and upload it to the gallery of cards on Wilna's blog (link at right). So check it out and consider doing this easy thing to make someone else's day brighter. For a terminal cancer patient, this can be unbelievably uplifting and encouraging... God bless you.
